Nicki Sutton
Nicki
Sutton joined Strategyn UK following a career in product and
technology development with a leading Cambridge consultancy. She
worked closely with global blue-chip companies helping them to
generate business and market growth through innovation and
exploitation of technology-based intellectual property. Ms Sutton
has particular expertise in early-stage product development within
the medical devices and consumer goods fields and can count Roche
Diagnostics, Terumo, Reebok, and Procter & Gamble amongst her client
list.
Ms Sutton holds a master’s degree in strategic marketing from
Cranfield University School of Management. During her studies she
undertook research into the relationship between innovation,
customers, and value creation, culminating in a thesis with a strong
focus on Outcome Driven Innovation® and its powerful role in product
development. She also has a master’s degree in biomedical
engineering gained at the University of Surrey, a bachelor’s degree
in physics from the University of Manchester, and further
professional qualifications in market and social research. During
her early career Ms Sutton undertook published academic research
work at Imperial College School of Medicine in London and worked as
a research and development scientist specialising in bioscience
instrument development for Whatman. Ms Sutton lives in Cambridge,
UK.
